This pin was life changing when I saw it last spring. I keep a notebook with me at all time to write down lesson ideas, parent contacts, meeting notes....heck even shopping lists! One thing that always bugged me is how things were just randomly in the notebook in the order I wrote them. Now....thanks to this pin....I color code the side of my journal pages by category. I know it takes a little bit of extra time, but it makes my organizational heart happy and more importantly.....it's SUPER cute!

I think this would make a great way to turn the traditional First Day of School photo into a precious keepsake. To save time, I would want to have the sticks covered before school started or have a parent volunteer to help me with the task.

Love the washi-tape for categorizing ideas in your journal. I agree, simple things can make such a big difference.
ReplyDeleteI love all these pins too! I never would have thought of using the Washi tape that way!
ReplyDeleteI love the wash tape ideas! I have such a huge stash of it! I love the first day of school idea too, and that reminds me that I need to make a sign for them to hold! Great pins, Lisa! :)
ReplyDeleteI think that I must be one of the few teachers who have not become addicted to washi tape. I think I might have to go out and get me some!
ReplyDeleteThe picture frames are so simple yet so adorable. Perfect for the first day of school.

Love all your pins! I will have to try the washi notebook labels. I bet you don't even have to washi the entire edge-- just a little tab would work too!
