With Thanksgiving over, it's time to start planning for my favorite month of the year! Here are a few freebies to get you started.
Looking for a great book to kick off the holiday season?
One of my favorite things of the season is sharing great literature with my students. Auntie Claus has been a student favorite for several years.
If you don't use read alouds in your classroom, I encourage you to give it a try this month. Everything you need for Auntie Claus is available as a FOREVER FREEBIE by clicking on the image above.
Christmas time in the classroom is full of fun and excitement! But...I don't want the learning to come to a stop! So, I try to include as many engaging topics as possible.
This is a nonfiction text with comprehension activities that your students will love! Grab this FREEBIE for your class this December!
This passage is part of a larger set of passages that I will be using throughout the month.
Reindeer
Christmas in Australia
Los Posadas (Mexico)
Christmas in Germany
Pearl Harbor (Pearl Harbor Day: December 7)
Christmas in Italy
The Wright Brothers (First Flight December 14)
St. Lucia Day (Sweden)

If you have younger students, grab this set of puzzles to help keep your student engaged this month. There are currently 3 puzzles in the set but I will be adding more throughout the month.
